Black UHMW Sheet – Reprocessed, is an environmentally friendly plastic for wear parts and components. Rather than throw off-cuts and trims into landfills, Reprocessed UHMW utilizes these drops to make an incredibly tough and slippery polymer sheet. In some cases, because high grade UHMW scraps are utilized, customers hardly notice any property difference over standard virgin UHMW.
Reprocessed UHMW is a blend of Virgin and Reprocessed polyethylene resulting in a cost effective alternative to Virgin UHMW. Reprocessed UHMW is recommended for wear strip applications that do not require FDA approval. Black Reprocessed UHMW sheet consists of multi-colored particles of reground virgin UHMW-PE. The Dyna-Flo black UHMW sheet is excellent for general purpose, non-FDA use, and is highly economical. In addition, DF2000 Reprocessed Black UHMW sheets have very good abrasion resistance as well as a low coefficient of friction. Also, these sheets measure 48″ x 120″ and are available in various thicknesses.
