Self-lubricating UHMW has a very low coefficient of friction which helps material slide over your working area with very little resistance.
Dyna-Flo® Silicone Filled UHMW will last longer than steel or aluminum parts because the material is very abrasion resistant and chemical resistant. It has a relative high impact strength even at low temperatures.
